In 2022 I was approached by the producers of uBettina Wethu
(Ugly Betty) with a unique challenge: integrate Standard Bank products into the storyline to foster financial literacy among viewers without disrupting the tone of the show.
This required a nuanced understanding of the show's narrative and characters, identifying moments where financial products could naturally enhance the story while offering viewers valuable insights into budgeting and financial planning.
The work demanded a careful balance of education and entertainment, showcasing the potential for creative integration to fulfil corporate responsibility through compelling storytelling.

Our mission was to craft ethical training videos that would resonate deeply with Absa's employees, breaking away from the monotony of the usual corporate training materials.
The solution took us by surprise: a series of soap opera-inspired videos that brought drama, intrigue, and a touch of humour to the corporate world, leveraging well-known soap actors and the genre's distinctive style.
This bold step not only paid off but marked an entertaining first in Absa’s world, proving that even in a context laden with compliance, we could find a space for drama and creativity to help land complex messages in a clear yet playful manner, much to the delight of our audience.
